A fine vintage English sterling silver and enamel compact; part of our silverware collection

This fine vintage ladies compact has a circular form.

The anterior cover of the compact is embellished with a cream guilloche enamel panel accented with rose garlands.

The underside of the compact is embellished with engine turned decoration.

This vintage compact opens to reveal the integrated mirror and powder compartment.

The hinged compact is fitted with a push fit catch and integrated thumbpiece.

Date: 1959


This vintage compact is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The enamel is in perfect condition.

Full hallmarks struck to surface of rim, and part hallmarks to the lower rim and thumbpiece are clear.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this item.
