Description


The pieces of this fine antique sterling silver and mother of pearl fruit / dessert service for 18 persons have a plain form.


Each piece of this service is fitted with an impressive carved mother of pearl handle.


Each fork is embellished with a bright cut engraved vacant cartouche in a shaped shield form.


The forks have three tines.


This comprehensive 18 person fruit / dessert service is fitted to a hinged oak presentation box with brass fittings including an oval vacant brass cartouche to the surface of the cover.


Condition


This antique fruit / dessert service is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The service has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each piece are very clear.
