Description


This impressive antique Edwardian sterling silver letter clip has been realistically modelled in the form of a horse shoe supported by an onyx base which reflects the horseshoe shape.


This fine and unusual letter clip features a spring hinged clip and thumbpiece in the form of a spur.


This collectable letter clip is embellished with a bright cut engraved crest depicting a count's coronet to the reverse of the hinge bracket.


Date: 1909

Condition


This antique letter clip is a good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The letter clip features a minor ding and a small hole to the front left corner.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the spring mount are rubbed but legible.

Part hallmarks struck to the base are clear.
