Sterling Silver Bottle Coaster - Antique George V (1931)

This impressive antique George V sterling silver bottle coaster has a plain cylindrical form to a domed spreading base.

The body coaster is embellished with two broad bands of pierced scrolling leaf decoration, in addition to an applied moulded border to the upper rim.

This solid silver bottle coaster is fitted with two plain incurved handles.

NOTE: The majority of such bottle coasters have a wooden base; it is a sign of quality when coasters have unlined, solid silver bases.
