These fine antique George V sterling silver candlesticks have Corinthian columns to a square swept base.

The cylindrical spreading capital each candlestick is plain and unembellished and retains the original hallmarked detachable sconce.

The square sconce and base of these Corinthian column candlesticks are encompassed with band of embossed bead decoration.

Both candlesticks have weighted bases, as to be expected, and are fitted with green baize to the underside.

These antique Corinthian column candlesticks are a very good gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent presentation condition in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim of each base and part hallmarks to the sleeve of each sconce are clear in keeping with age and location.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these silver corinthian column candlesticks.
