This impressive canteen is fitted to a fine mahogany lift up lid and well, two drawer canteen box which retains the original brass carry and drawer handles.
The box lid is embellished with satinwood banding to the rim and a central satinwood inlaid decorated oval panel.
*Predominately all antique silver canteens have replacement knives as the originals have not stood the test of time.
The pieces of this impressive
antique canteen are a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

The mahogany canteen box has been professionally polished by a cabinet maker, and is also in excellent, presentation condition.
