This impressive George IV sterling silver coffee pot has a baluster shaped form onto a circular spreading foot.
This fine coffee pot is heavily embellished with impressive chased wild rose, scroll and leaf decoration.
The chased decoration incorporates a vacant scroll decorated shaped cartouche to either side.
This piece is fitted with a hinged hallmarked domed cover ornamented with chased wild rose decoration.
The cover is surmounted by a sterling silver urn shaped finial.
The coffee pot has a fine chased decorated spout with an impressive chased wild rose and leaf decorated socket and a leaf decorated terminal.
This antique coffee pot is fitted with a shaped scrolling sterling silver handle embellished with floral and leaf bright cut engraved decoration and a heavily ornamented upper socket.
Condition
This George IV coffee pot is an exceptional gauge of silver , fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
The chased decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface and part hallmarks struck to the cover are very clear however, the makers mark struck to the body is slightly rubbed but remains legible.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this item of silverware.
