This impressive Victorian sterling silver coffee pot has a baluster shaped form onto a circular spreading foot.
The lower portion of this fine antique coffee pot is embellished with chased wild rose, leaf and scroll decoration and incorporates a shaped vacant cartouche.
The flared rim of this piece is ornamented with an applied flower and leaf decoration.
This fine large coffee pot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged domed cover which retains the exceptional and impressive original hallmarked floral posy finial.
The surface of the cover is ornamented with chased flower, leaf and scroll decoration.
The coffee pot has a fine and impressive floral and leaf chased decorated spout with a leaf decorated terminal.
The C scroll handle is embellished with an impressive acanthus leaf thumbpiece.
The foot of this Victorian piece is encircled with a flower and leaf chased decorated border.
This large and impressive coffee pot is an exceptional example of its type.
Condition
This antique coffee pot is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in excellent presentation condition.
The chased decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the base, and part hallmarks struck to the cover, handle and finial are all very clear.
