This antique George V sterling silver three piece condiment set consists of a salt, a pepper pot and a mustard pot.
The pieces of this fine condiment set have a plain circular flared form and crafted in a plain Art Deco style.
The lower portion of the body of each piece is in the iconic stepped Art Deco design.
The mustard pot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged domed stepped cover, surmounted by a sterling silver finial.
The pepper pot is fitted with a domed stepped pierced decorated push fit hallmarked cover, also surmounted by an Art Deco style sterling silver finial.
The mustard pot and salt are fitted with removable blue glass liners.
This very good antique condiment set retains the original matching hallmarked salt and mustard spoons.
The George V condiment set is fitted to a hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior.
Condition
The pieces of this antique condiment set are a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent presentation condition.
The box is in excellent condition in keeping with age.
Full hallmarks to the surface of each piece, including the spoons, and part hallmarks struck to the covers of the pepper pot and mustard pot are all very clear.
