Description


This exceptional antique George II sterling silver cream boat has a hand raised oval form onto a oval shaped foot.


The lower portion of this impressive cream boat is encompassed with chased decorated broad flutes, incorporating a contemporary bright cut engraved crest.


This exceptional example of Georgian silverware has an undulating rim to the upper portion.


This antique cream boat is fitted with an impressive spiralling handle accented with scroll decorated terminals.


The piece is supported by an impressive cast sterling silver domed spreading foot.

Condition


This antique cream boat is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in excellent condition in keeping with age.

The bright cut engraved crest has wear in keeping with age.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the base are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of Georgian silverware.
