This antique sterling silver gallery tray has a rectangular cut cornered form onto eight impressive cast sterling silver scroll and stylised leaf, bracket style feet.
The gallery of the tray is embellished with pierced decorated pales, accented with bright cut urn like motifs at each corner.
The shaped rim of the tray is ornamented with a band of pierced decorated, bright cut engraved corn husk decoration and applied gadroon decoration.
This Victorian tray is fitted with shaped inset handles.
The base of this fine antique tray is embellished with fine bright cut engraved ribbon swag decoration incorporating a vacant shaped cartouche to the centre.
This tray is supplied with a functional contemporary hinged wooden box.

Condition
This antique tray is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional presentation condition.
The bright cut engraved decoration is very crisp.
Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the tray and part hallmarks struck to the gallery are all very clear.
