An exceptional and impressive antique George V English sterling silver gallery tray; part of our dining silverware collection


Description


This antique sterling silver tray has a plain oval shaped form onto plain bun feet.


This George V tea tray is fitted with a deep gallery.


The gallery of the tray is embellished with pierced trellis style and vertical pale decoration, featuring a band of embossed corn husk swag decoration, accented with embossed sterling silver lion mask medallions.


This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with shaped inset handles.


The base of the tray is plain and unembellished.


This impressive George V tray is shown with a tea service for illustrative purposes only - the tea service (W7986) may be purchased separately from the AC Silver inventory if so desired.


Condition


This antique tray is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

This tray has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the tray are clear, however the maker's mark is partially rubbed.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
