This exceptional antique George V sterling silver gallery tray has a plain oval shaped form onto plain bun feet.
The surface of this antique silver gallery tray is plain and unembellished.
The deep gallery of the tray is embellished with pierced trellis style decoration accented with a band of embossed corn husk swag ornamentation, suspended from lion mask medallions.
The decoration to the border incorporates a shaped inset handle to either end.
This antique silver gallery tray is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.
The tray has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the tray are clear; the maker's mark is partially rubbed but remains legible.
