An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique Victorian English sterling silver gravy spoon made by George William Adams; an addition to our silver flatware collection

This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver gravy spoon has been crafted in the Victoria pattern.


The anterior and posterior surfaces of the waisted handle and shoulders are enveloped with scrolling leaf ornamentation with paralleling thread decorated borders to the stem.


The anterior surface of the terminal is further embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a demi-lion holding in the paw a mullet


The spoon has an impressive scrolling leaf decorated heel to the reverse of the bowl.


This fine silver gravy spoon was crafted by the renowned and collectable London silversmith George Adams of Chawner & Co .

This antique sterling silver gravy spoon is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle are all very clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the superior gauge of silver.
