A rare miniature antique late Georgian sterling silver teapot by Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I; part of our silver teaware collection


Description


This rare miniature teapot has a plain oval Queen Anne style form onto a plain oval colet foot.


The teapot is fitted with a flush hinged hallmarked cover which has a stepped carved egg-shaped pear wood finial with silver terminal.


The teapot is fitted with a carved pear wood C scroll handle with plain sockets.


This Georgian piece has been made by the renowned and collectable London silversmiths Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard I.


Condition


This fine antique teapot is a good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the base, and part hallmarks as expected struck to the interior of the cover, are all very clear.
