This fine antique Edwardian cast sterling silver ornament has been realistically modelled in the form of an elephant.

This piece has been embellished with chased decoration reproducing the fine details of the elephant’s skin and facial features.

This ornamental elephant retains the original sterling silver ball under the sole of the front left foot.

Condition

This antique ornament is an excellent gauge of silver, fine quality and in very good condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the elephant’s rear leg are all very clear.

The maker’s mark struck to the elephant’s front leg is also very clear.

Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this antique piece of ornamental silverware.
