This impressive antique William IV mustard pot has a plain drum shaped form.
The sterling silver body of the mustard pot is plain and unembellished.
The upper rim of the body is ornamented with an applied gadroon decorated border.
The base of the impressive mustard pot is embellished with an applied thread decorated border.
This fine mustard pot is fitted with a hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with a pierced and scroll decorated thumbpiece.
This William IV mustard pot has a fine chased oak leaf decorated opposing scroll handle and is fitted with a removable blue glass liner.
The mustard pot retains the original gilded interior.
This William IV mustard pot can be supplied with an appropriate sterling silver mustard spoon upon request.
Condition
This antique mustard pot is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
The decoration to this piece is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks struck to the cover are all very clear.
