Description

This fine set of antique George V sterling silver napkin rings consists of six napkin rings, each with a circular cylindrical rounded form.

The anterior face of each piece is embellished with a band of bright cut engraved stylised leaf and scroll decoration incorporating a vacant shaped cartouche.

This fine set of George V napkin rings is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box, with a velvet and satin lined interior and secured with a brass hinged push fit catch.

Condition

These antique napkin rings are a very good gauge of silver, very good quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The decoration to each napkin ring is very crisp.

The box is in excellent condition in keeping with age; a 4cm square repair to the surface of the box in the same colour does not detract from the overall appearance.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each napkin ring are all very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these pieces of antique silverware.
