Description


This fine antique George VI sterling silver presentation trophy has a plain tapering cylindrical form onto a circular stepped spreading foot.


The surface of this fine example of antique silverware is plain and unembellished.


This cup has two impressive Art Deco style plain angular cut cornered handles.


This trophy retains the original hallmarked domed stepped push fit cover surmounted with the original carved finial, all in the Art Deco style.


This Art Deco trophy is fitted to a circular painted wood plinth, encircled with a vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired.

Condition


This antique presentation trophy is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

This Art Deco trophy has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique silverware.
