Description


This fine antique George II sterling silver snuffer tray has a rectangular incurved form with rounded corners and a Chippendale style border.


This antique silver tray is fitted with a volute scroll decorated S scroll handle with a plain thumbpiece.


This fine example of Georgian silverware is supported by four hoof style feet.


The snuffer tray is a very fine example of its type made by renowned & collectable London silversmith John Cafe.

Condition


This antique snuffer tray is an exceptional example of silver, fine quality and very good condition.

The tray has a very good patina in keeping with its age.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the snuffer tray are very clear.


Reflections in photography may detract from the true representation of this Georgian silverware
