Description


This antique George V sterling silver tea caddy has a plain oval form onto a collet foot.


The surface of the caddy is plain and embellished with an applied band of bud style ornamentation to the body and upper rim.


This antique tea caddy is fitted with a plain domed hinged hallmarked cover surmounted by an Adams style urn finial.


Date: 1920

Condition


This George V sterling silver tea caddy is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface and part hallmarks struck to the cover are very clear apart from the maker's mark, which is legible under a ten times magnifying glass.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of antique silverware.
