The body of the teapot is embellished with bands of embossed horizontal convex fluted style decoration with the contemporary bright cut engraved ‘F’ to one side.

The flared shoulders of the teapot are ornamented with gadroon decorated border.

This fine teapot is fitted with a plain domed hinged hallmarked cover which retains the original detachable sterling silver finial, secured to the interior of the cover by a screw fitting wing nut.

This fine Georgian teapot retains the original hallmarked shaped angular sterling silver handle.

This antique teapot has an impressive plain flat sided swan necked spout.

Condition

This antique teapot is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.

The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use.

There is some crazing to the finial in keeping with age, this does not affect the integrity of the piece.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface and part hallmarks to the cover and handle are all very clear; due to their location on the body of the teapot, the hallmarks show slight signs of wear, but may be considered very clear.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of Georgian teaware.
