Description


This fine antique George V sterling silver three piece tea service consists of a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl.


The body of each piece is embellished with plain shaped embossed panels paralleling the incurved shoulders to the upper portion.


The teapot is fitted with a domed hinged hallmarked cover surmounted by the original carved oval painted wood and sterling silver finial.


The teapot retains the original C shaped carved painted wood handle with a plain scrolling thumbpiece.


The cream jug and sugar bowl are fitted with sterling silver C scroll handles; matching the wooden handle to the teapot.


The impressive sugar bowl and cream jug retain the original gilded interior.

This antique tea service is an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The service has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each piece and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all very clear.
