The pieces of this fine antique George V sterling silver three piece tea service have a rounded circular form onto a colet foot.
Each piece is embellished with a broad band of Art Deco style engraved decoration.
The teapot is fitted with a hinged lid, also embellished with Art Deco style engraved decoration.
The teapot cover is ornamented with a stylised silver bud finial.
The teapot is fitted with an angular, carved Art Deco style wood handle and a simple engraved decorated spout.
The cream jug and sugar bowl are fitted with reed and ball decorated handles.

Condition
This George V tea service is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent and presentation condition.
The engraved decoration is very crisp.
Full hallmarks stuck to the underside of each piece are all very clear.
