Description

This fine George IV sterling silver tea tray has a plain rectangular form with rounded corners.

The swept border of the tray has gadroon decoration to the rim.

The tray is fitted with gadroon, acanthus leaf and shell decorated handles.

The silver tray stands on four gadroon and scroll decorated bracket style feet.

The surface of the antique tray is plain and unembellished.

Condition

This fine tray is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

The decoration to the handles, feet and border is very crisp and sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the tray are all very clear.
