Description

This fine George V sterling silver tea tray has a plain oval form.

The surface of this antique tea tray is embellished with bright cut engraved scrolling, husk swag and medalion motif decoration.

The bright cut engraved decoration incorporates a vacant oval cartouche to the centre of the surface of the tray.

This impressive tea tray is ornamented with thread decorated borders and handles.

This fine silver tray is fitted with acanthus leaf decorated handles to either end.

This impressive antique tea tray is displayed with the four piece tea service for illustrative purposes only - the tea service (W4793) may be purchased separately from the AC Silver inventory if so desired.

Condition

This antique tray is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.

This George V tea tray has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.

The bright cut engraved decoration is very sharp.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside are very clear.
