Description


These exceptional antique George V sterling silver vases have a cylindrical form to a circular shaped spreading foot.


The surface of each silver vase is embellished with applied Arts and Crafts style stylised conjoined foliage designs flanked with rope twist decorated borders.


The lower rounded portion of the body is encircled with chased tri-lobed style arched designs, subdivided in equal distances to the aforementioned leaf designs.


The upper rim of each vase is encompassed with further rope twist and applied ribbed decorated borders.


The large spreading foot reflects an offset variation of the chased design to the lower portion of the body.


The interior of each exceptional vase retains the original gilding.


These impressive Arts and Crafts style vases were crafted by the renowned and collectable maker's the Guild of Handicraft; also known as Hart Gold & Silversmiths.

These antique Arts and Crafts vases are a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional presentation condition.

Full hallmarks struck to the underside of each vase are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the superior gauge of silver.


Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of thee fine examples of antique silverware.
