The jug or pitcher has a cylindrical, inverted cone shape form with convex shoulders to a plain cylindrical neck and simple lip.
The jug is fitted with a splendid leaf decorated shaped scroll handle.
The beakers have a circular tapering form.
These fine Victorian jug and beakers are ornamented with the same embossed and chased floral and scroll motif to both sides of the jug, and to the front of each beaker.
The motif embellishes a shaped vacant cartouche to each piece.
Condition
The pieces of this fine water/cordial set are a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the jug and the retailer's marks to the underside of the jug are clear.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of both beakers are slightly rubbed, but legible.
