This very fine antique sterling silver centrepiece / bowl has a navette shaped form onto an oval pedestal base supported by four hoof style feet.
This impressive bowl has a broad pierced decorated border below the applied pierced quatrefoil motif decorated rim.
The shaped rim is accented with shell and quatrefoil decorated designs.
The four hoof style feet are also ornamented with shell, scroll and quatrefoil decoration.
This very fine George V centrepiece is fitted with two impressive scrolling handles embellished with acanthus and mask decorated terminals.
The handle sockets are ornamented with shell decoration and scrolling terminals.
This sterling silver centrepiece is fitted with a shaped cranberry coloured glass liner.
Condition
This very fine George V bowl is a very good gauge of silver, very fine quality and in exceptional condition.
The bowl has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
The glass liner is in perfect condition.
The applied decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bowl are all clear, apart from the second portion of the maker's mark which is rubbed.
