This exceptional antique George III cut glass and sterling silver cruet set consists of a mustard pot, shaker, two large oil/vinegar bottles and four small oil/vinegar bottles displayed on the original associated stand.
The original cut glass containers have a cylindrical tapering form with stepped shoulders with hobnail decoration to the upper portion and fluted decoration to the lower portion of the body.
The circular spreading base of each piece has star cut ornamentation to the underside.
Each vessel of this fine antique cut glass cruet set is fitted with the original impressive hallmarked plain sterling silver mount.
The mounts to each oil/vinegar bottle are encircled with subtle bands of tooled decoration.
