Victorian sterling silver has a circular rounded form onto a circular spreading foot. bowl
The body of the bowl is embellished with shaped panels incorporating chased scrolling leaf decoration and two shaped cartouches.
One side of this impressive Victorian bowl displays a fine enamel and bright cut engraved scene from the Shakespearean play “As You Like It” depicting Rosalind, Celia and Touchstone wandering in the Forest of Arden.
This cartouche is further embellished below with the engraved wording
“As You Like It, Act 2nd Scene 4th“.
The large shaped cartouche to the other side of the bowl is vacant.
