Description
This fine antique sterling silver and enamel decorated hand mirror has a rounded form with an iconic Art Deco style angular, stepped decorated handle.
The mirror retains its original rounded bevelled glass showing a clear reflection.
The reverse of the mirror has been embellished with a green guilloche enamel panel.
The reverse face of the Art Deco style faceted tapering handle is also ornamented with green guilloche enamel.
This George VI hand mirror is a fine example of its type.
Condition
This fine antique hand mirror is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition.
The enamel is in perfect condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface edge of the mirror are very clear; partially rubbed but legible makers mark in keeping with age.
