This fine antique George V sterling silver and glass dish has a circular Arts & Crafts style form.
The surface of the dish has a planished finish.
The dish is fitted with three plain scroll handles in the Arts and Crafts style.
The dish retains the original hallmarked cover surmounted by a plain bun shaped finial.
This George V dish is fitted with a detachable green glass liner.
This fine preserve dish was made in 1935, the year of King George V and Queen Mary's Silver Jubilee. As such, the dish features the additional commemorative Silver Jubilee hallmark.
Condition
This antique dish is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.
This sterling silver and glass preserve dish is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the base and the underside of the cover are very clear.
