The festive season is in full swing- and has been for some of us for a tad longer than we’d like to admit! With that comes all the joys of Christmas- over the top decorations, an abundance of mince pies and of course, presents. With this in mind, we’ve created a wish list of all our favourite luxury items. Hopefully this will provide you with some seasonal gift inspiration. Or, it may give you another treat or two to add to your own Christmas list! This year, all we want for Christmas is…
1) Diamonds
First on the wish list is diamonds. Although this may be slightly less romantic than Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ it is certainly more realistic for us jewellery lovers. Diamonds are a timeless classic- and with good reason. Whatever your personal preference or style there is sure to be a diamond encrusted piece out there that suits your tastes. From shimmering studs to blinging brooches, diamonds enhance any piece of jewellery they feature on. Personally, Art Deco is my favourite style of jewellery. I’ll be crossing my fingers that I wake on Christmas morning to find the stunning ring below in my stocking…
2) Cocktails
Christmas is the ultimate party season, and what’s a celebration without a cocktail or two? This year, all we want for Christmas is some cocktail accessories to adorn our bar carts. These are the perfect addition to any hosts inventory during the festive season. Practical as well as stylish, cocktail shakers, drinks stirrers and tumblers are a must for any partier. Experience based gifts are enduringly popular, as they provide the recipient with priceless memories. That’s why drink related accessories make our Christmas lists. These are wonderful gifts to open on the day, but the fun really starts when the party does! We’ll take ours shaken, not stirred please.
3) Novelty Gifts
If there’s ever a time for novelty, then Christmas is it. Here at AC Silver we have a penchant for all things prank related- there are sure to be some practical jokes in our work secret Santa. However, this year we’re asking Father Christmas to take it up a notch, and requesting some novelty silver items. There are a huge variety of novelty silver items out there, which are the perfect way to add some personality to interiors whilst still retaining a sense of luxury. Our pick for this year’s Christmas table are these antique Victorian peppers in the form of champagne bottles. The gold accents would perfectly complement any festive themes, and the bottles themselves are almost as good as the real thing!
4) Heart Shaped Jewellery
All we want for Christmas is a really thoughtful gift. If you want to show your appreciation for someone this holiday, then you really can’t go wrong with heart shaped jewellery. The sentiment behind this is unmatched, and it is a wonderful way to demonstrate your gratitude for someone you love. The heart style is a classic that is sure to remain popular for years to come, and it is adored worldwide. However don’t let this fool you into thinking this is an unoriginal choice. The heart style is one of the most versatile designs out there. Whether the recipient prefers small and subtle or bright and bold, there is sure to be a heart shaped piece suited to their tastes.
5) Jewellery Box
If we’re lucky enough to receive any of the items on our Christmas list, then we’d also love a jewellery box to store them in. It helps if the box is as pretty as the items that are hidden inside it! As jewellery fanatics, we sometimes need a slight helping hand when storing our antique jewellery. A day without a tangled necklace would be the best Christmas present we could think of! Jewellery boxes are a wonderful gift for any accessory addict, as they help to keep their beloved collections safe, and look stunning too.
We’re feeling rather proud for limiting our Christmas list to just 5 must have items! Hopefully our letter to Santa can serve as some inspiration to you as you embark upon your Christmas shopping. And why not treat yourself too while you’re at it. After all, tis the season!
