Description

This fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold.

The brooch has been modelled in the form of a simplified seated figure dressed in Chinese attire, singing and playing an accordion.

The accordion has extended bellows and is ornamented with five individually collet set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to each handpiece.

The figure's convex spherical head is ornamented with two transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds replicating the eyes, in addition to a round faceted cut ruby representing the character's mouth.

The accordionist is wearing a plain cross brace to the torso, with a horizontal ribbed texture beneath.

The seated Chinaman character is supported by impressive rope twist decorated strands, conjoined to provide a rounded, textured border.

This vintage gold brooch secures to the reverse of the setting with a hinged pin fastening and clasp.

The reverse of this musical brooch features the 18ct gold marks (18k, 750).

This vintage figure brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
