This exceptional, fine and impressive Victorian locket and chain has been crafted in 15 ct yellow gold.
The subtly domed locket has an oval design with a brushed finish.
The anterior face is ornamented with a pierced decorated oval shaped applied decoration.
The oval shaped applied decoration has a central linear crossbar with trefoil motifs to the upper border.
The design is ornamented with four square step cut emeralds and embellished with a total of sixty-one seed pearls.
The posterior face of this hinged locket is plain and unembellished.
The locket suspends from a substantial 15 ct yellow gold 18" book link chain via a spring loaded bolt ring fastening and flared ring loop attachment to the upper border of the design.
The chain is supplied with an extra link to lengthen the necklace, a service that may be provided if so desired.
The locket opens to allow two photographs or small mementos to be placed behind removable, push fit glass panels.
This antique Victorian locket pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 ct gold.
The locket is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
