Description

This fine and impressive antique sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold with a platinum setting.

The pierced decorated cluster style setting is ornamented with a 0.17 ct blue sapphire, eight claw set in relief to the centre of the design.

The sapphire is encircled by eight Old European round cut diamonds, collet set within a scalloped edged design.

The elevated, tapering ring shoulders are accented with a single collet set diamond and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.

The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the marks for 18 ct gold (18ct) and platinum (PT).

This gemstone dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition

This fine antique 1920's cluster ring is fine quality set with sapphires and very well colour matched, very high colour graded old cut diamonds.

The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear hallmarks to the interior, showing signs of wear to the collet settings in keeping with age.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of sapphire jewellery/estate jewelry.
