Description

This fine and impressive emerald and diamond dress ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold and platinum.

The pierced decorated, subtly scalloped square shaped mount is ornamented with a 0.21 ct step cut emerald collet set to the centre of the millegrain decorated setting.

The emerald is framed by twelve pavé set eight-cut diamonds.

The elevated, pierced decorated shaped shoulders are embellished with a millegrain decoration and join with the plain hallmarked ring shank.

The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the marks for 18 ct gold and platinum (18ct & PLAT).

This impressive antique 1900s emerald and diamond dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
