0.28ct Diamond, 14ct White Gold Highland Light Infantry Brooch - Antique Circa 1920

Description

This fine and impressive antique pin / brooch has been crafted in 14ct white gold with a palladium setting.

The brooch has been modelled in the form of a crowned 'HLI' monogram; this monogram pertains to the Highland Light Infantry*.

The palladium setting is embellished with a total of thirty-eight pavé set Dutch cut diamonds.

The brooch secures with a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse.

This antique 1920's sweetheart military brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14ct gold and palladium.

The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

* The Highland Light Infantry (HLI) was a Light infantry branch of the British Army, formed in 1881 and amalgamated with the Royal Scots Fusiliers in 1959. While active they took part in both the First and Second World Wars, recruiting from Glasgow and the Scottish Lowlands; earning their nickname 'Hell's Last Issue'.
