Description

This impressive vintage solitaire ring has been crafted in 18 carat yellow gold with a platinum setting.

The 0.49 carat Old European round cut diamond is held in relief in a eight claw, pierced decorated, elevated basket setting embellished with a fluted border.

The bifurcating elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 18 carat yellow gold hallmarked shank.

The exterior of the shank is clearly hallmarked with the French eagle's head and dog's head.

This vintage solitaire ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate.

Condition

This 1940s engagement ring is fine quality set with a very high colour graded old cut diamond.

The vintage solitaire ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with clear French hallmarks to the exterior of the shank.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of vintage jewellery/estate jewelry.
