0.55ct Diamond and 18ct White Gold, Platinum Set Solitaire Ring - Vintage French Circa 1950

This impressive 1950s diamond engagement ring has been crafted in 18ct white gold with a platinum setting.

The 0.55 carat transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond is held in relief in an eight claw, platinum, pierced decorated, elevated basket setting embellished with a fluted border.

The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 18ct white gold hallmarked shank.

The exterior of the shank is hallmarked with the French eagle's head and dog's head marks and some maker's marks that are rubbed.

This 1950s diamond engagement ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate.
