This exceptional, fine and impressive floral and bee pendant has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with 18ct white gold settings.
The pendant has been formed in the shape of a three dimensional six petalled open flower supporting a bee collecting pollen, in the antique style.
The stamens of the flower are represented by ten 18ct white gold collet set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The petals of the flower are embellished with hot enamel decoration with a graduating peach base accented with red, black and white highlights.
The body of the bee is ornamented with a total of twenty pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds, with hot enamel decoration representing the stripes.
The eyes of the bee are represented by two collet set cabochon cut rubies, totalling 0.08ct.
The flower stem protrudes from the top of the pendant displaying four pavé set modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The floral design suspends from a claw set 0.75ct marquise cut sapphire.
The vintage bee and flower pendant suspends from an 18" 18ct yellow gold figaro chain via an integrated bale to the upper border of the design, securing to the reverse with a hook fastening.
The chain is further ornamented with six cylindrical settings ornamented with pink hot enamel, terminating with black enamel borders.
The pendant is hallmarked to the reverse of the setting with the Italian town and maker's mark for Alessandria (star 690 AL) and the 18ct fineness mark (750) to the setting and clasp.
This impressive bee necklace is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card.
