Description

This stunning, fine and impressive Royal Surrey brooch has been crafted in platinum.

The diamond brooch has been modelled in the form of the insignia of The Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment (West)*; the Paschal lamb upon a wreath of twisted cloth (torse), carrying St. George's flag.

The brooch is embellished with forty-six pavé set diamonds, in a combination of eight-cuts and transitional modern brilliant round cuts.

Seven step cut rubies ornament the flag, and six lozenge cut rubies accent the wreath of twisted cloth.

A single cabochon cut ruby represents the Paschal lamb's eye.

This regimental sweetheart brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and safety clasp.

NOTE *The Queen’s Royal Regiment (West Surrey), the 2nd of Foot, was England’s oldest infantry Regiment formed in 1661.

The brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.

This vintage gemstone brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
