Description

This fine and impressive Victorian diamond ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold.

The elevated plain ‘c’ shaped multi-claw setting displays five well colour matched old European cut diamonds, graduating in size.

The flared ring shoulders integrate seamlessly with the claw setting and plain 18 ct yellow gold hallmarked shank.

The interior of the shank is clearly hallmarked with the 18 ct mark, the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark (anchor), the gold mark (crown) and date letter for 1880 (f).

This fine antique dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Date: 1880

Condition

This antique dress ring is fine quality, set with very high colour graded old cut diamonds.

The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a full set of very clear hallmarks to the interior of the shank.

The central diamond has a naturally formed cleave which shows as a darkened area when viewed from certain angles - the ring has been priced accordingly.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewellery/estate jewelry.
