Description

This fine and impressive diamond drop necklace has been crafted in 14 ct yellow gold with a 14 ct white gold setting.

The pendant displays a feature 0.70 ct Old European round cut diamond, collet set within a 14 ct white gold set millegrain decorated setting, encircled by a pierced decorated, plain circular border.

This feature diamond is incorporated into the vertical linear design, which consists of five articulated collet set Dutch cut diamond links.

The pendant suspends from an 18 ct white gold 18" trace chain via two integrated ring loops to the upper border of the design, and secures with a push fit clasp and benefits from the additional security of a hinged safety clip.

Due to the style of the necklace, there is a strong probability of German origin.

This antique 1920's necklace has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 ct gold.

The pendant is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.

Condition

This impressive antique necklace is fine quality set with old cut diamonds.

The feature diamond has been clarity graded as P1 as there are inclusions predominately to the rim of the crown. These inclusions are not large black inclusions, and the diamond displays fine brilliance.

The necklace is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of diamond jewellery/estate jewelry.
