The locket has a three dimensional, domed oval form embellished with a brushed finish to the surface.
The anterior face of the pendant is ornamented with an impressive applied floral decoration, composed of a five petalled flower-head, stalk and paired leaf.
The flower-head is ornamented with a collet set 0.04ct oval cut ruby, surrounded by five collet set cabochon cut turquoise petals.
The posterior face of the domed locket has a oval shaped push fit glass compartment, in which a personal memento or photograph may be stored if so desired.
This antique Victorian locket suspends from a contemporary 9ct yellow gold fine link curb chain via an integrated ring loop to the upper border of the design.
The chain secures with a conventional spring loaded bolt ring fastening and may be replaced with a chain of the same quality, in a style or length to meet your personal requirements.
This antique 1860's gemstone locket has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 22ct gold.
