Description


This exceptional, fine and impressive Victorian diamond brooch has been crated in 18 ct yellow gold


The bar style brooch is ornamented with a feature 0.39 ct Old European cut diamond, flanked on either side by a slightly smaller Old European cut diamonds, all individually collet set horizontally to the centre of the design.


The brooch is embellished with a finely applied rope twist and bead decoration.


The upper and lower borders of the design are framed with an applied three dimensional floral design consisting of rope twist and ball decoration.


A ball finial accents either end of the bar style brooch.


The brooch secure with a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse of the setting.


The reverse of the brooch is inset with a push fit panel, allowing this versatile example of Victorian jewellery to be used as a locket.


This stunning antique Victorian brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 ct gold.


The brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.

This antique 1880's bar brooch is exceptional quality set with very high colour graded old cut diamonds.

The brooch is an exceptional gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.
