This stunning, fine and impressive Art Deco ring has been crafted in platinum.
The scrolling pierced decorated, circular Art Deco setting is ornamented with a feature antique 1910s 0.33ct Old European cut diamond, collet set in subtle relief to the centre of the design.
Emanating from the feature diamond are sixteen claw set eight-cut diamonds alternating with sixteen channel set mixed French cut sapphires, displayed in a double layered, millegrain decorated geometric sun-burst design.
The outer circumference of this central Art Deco arrangement is encircled with a further twenty-four eight-cut diamonds and twenty-four mixed French cut sapphires; this formation reflects an offset variation of the aforementioned radiating design.
The tapering ring shoulders are ornamented with an individually set sapphires and diamonds, all above a hand engraved lozenge and simplified floral motif decorated panel.
The pierced decorated shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
This contemporary Art Deco style diamond and sapphire ring has been hallmarked with the platinum mark (PLAT), the maker's mark 'JoAq'* and the markings 'D 0.27 0.38 1.40'.
The ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate for the feature diamond, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
