This fine and impressive Georgian emerald ring has been crafted in 15 ct yellow gold with silver settings.

The pierced decorated, shaped frame displays a central collet set pear cut natural emerald to the centre of the bud and leaf design.

The central pear cut emerald is flanked on either side and to the upper and lower borders with four collet set, square cut, natural emeralds.

The millegrain decorated silver setting is embellished with fourteen old Dutch cut diamonds.

The ring displays a further four smaller old round cut natural emeralds collet set within bud settings.

The pierced decorated, elevated stylised leaf design ring shoulders are accented at the junction with the plain ring shank with a subtle cuff detail.

This impressive antique Georgian dress ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

The ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15ct gold and silver.

"Rather than regarding inclusions in coloured stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."

This impressive 1820's ring is fine quality, set with natural emeralds and old cut diamonds.

The ring is a very good gauge of gold and in excellent condition, with some strengthening to the join between the setting and shank.

To retain its period look, the ring has not been cleaned to a bright finish.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of early 1800s jewellery/estate jewelry.
