This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian diamond brooch has been crafted in 9ct yellow gold with a silver setting.
The 9ct yellow gold bar is ornamented with a central silver setting, modelled in the form of a swallow in flight.
The swallow is embellished with nineteen pavé set diamonds in a combination of Dutch cuts and eight-cuts.
The terminals of the 9ct yellow gold bar brooch display a feature 0.23ct and a 0.25ct Old European round cut diamond, claw set.
A single silver collet set Dutch cut diamond flanks each of the feature diamond.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a 9ct yellow gold hinged pin and clasp brooch clasp fastening.
This antique diamond bird brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 9ct gold and silver.
The brooch is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
