Description

These stunning onyx and diamond drop earrings have been crafted in 14 ct yellow gold.

Each Art Deco style earring displays an impressive circular collet set black onyx panel encircled by twelve individually six claw set, well colour matched, transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.

Each earring is accented with three articulated drops embellished with black onyx and terminating with diamond ornamented, fluted terminals.

The vintage earrings secure to the reverse with a hallmarked clip fastening, for non pierced ears.

The earrings are hallmarked to the clip fastening with the 14 ct gold fineness mark (14k) and stamped with 'PAT 2583988'*.

These 1950s onyx earrings are supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

NOTE

*PAT 2583988 refers to the patented clip-on fastening which secures the earrings. The patent was issued in January 1952 to the inventors, "Ballou Jr Frederick A" and "Stafford Rogers T".
